2003-Awarded Distinguished Alumni Award. 2005-Elected Executive Committee Member,Society Distinguished Alumni. 2007- Elected Secretary-Treasurer, Society Distinguished Alumni. Retired 12-1-2008 From State Senate after 32 years service in the legislature-8 years House and 24in the State Senate.
